I have always been a creative
I have always been a creative.
However it was not respected profesionally in the place i grew up. That’s why I never went to college for arts.
But .. I never asked for an education. I didn’t need to learn how to draw better, so that I can sell my art. I didn’t need a creative writing class to get a copywriting job. I didn’t need a dance class to get a job as a performer.
All those things came naturally to me, but had no outlet.
I realized I wasnt looking for a job as a creative. Pursuing creativity for the sole reason of finances can kill the passion.
I learnt early on to keep creativity seperate. I didn’t want to be a bitter artist, or a struggling dancer or a broke writer.
I unexpectedly stumbled on generative AI and ChatGPT right, last year right around the time I was looking for ideas for a Youtube channel.
I instantly understood its potential.
This can take care of business and finance, while we as humans can have the space and time to be more creative.
There’s a lot of pessimism around AI stealing our jobs.
I am an optimist and believe we aren’t supposed to spend our best days in front of a computer. Better things will be revealed in 5-10 years when AI officially takes over the mundane.
As for me, I am looking forward to that day … ready to build, ready to create and ready to dream of a new reality
